Our annual membership fee is £10; this includes entrance to our full programme of 8 evening meetings between September and May. During the summer there are two or three visits which may be subsidised for members.

We welcome visitors to individual talks and charge £2 for each visit. If a visitor decides to join the Society, the £2 entrance fee is credited towards the annual subscription.

You will get to meet friendly, like-minded people with an interest in the history of Wembury and the surrounding area. Our talks are always interesting and provide a fascinating insight into the rich and varied history of this fascinating area. Whether you are keen to find out more about Wembury, an enthusiastic amateur historian, or an expert, we are sure that you will find our programme both informative and enlightening.

Please note that, because the number of participants must sometimes be limited, our summer visits are offered initially to members only. However, we are very happy to have expressions of interest from visitors and will always accommodate them if there is space. To notify us of your interest, please email us.
