Many of Wembury’s key records – particularly those of the St Werburgh’s Church and the parish council, are lodged with the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office. However, we also have a substantial collection of documents, photographs and artefacts donated by local residents and organisations. If you have additional material which you think may interest us, please contact us via our contact form or by approaching a member of the committee. We understand that potential donors may wish to retain their original photos and papers, but please do not let that stop you contacting us – we have scanning and photographic facilities, and it is almost always possible to make good electronic copies for the archive.

We are reorganising the material in our archive and currently have it classified under the following headings. For more information, please use our contact form.
